Photoshop Projects

Project one was the easiest, we had to use a picture of our school as the background then added a compass with our school name on it. Then we had to type ONW and clear both of them out so we could still see the school behind each thing. The tools we used in this project were the text tool, opacity tool, and the copy and paste tool. It took me time to get use to the tools but I managed to get it to work out.

Project two was my favorite one to do when I finally got the hang of it. We had to turn a monarch butterfly into our own creation by changing the colors in the wings to any colors we wanted. We did that by using the Magic Wand tool and selecting the wing section we wanted then changing the size of it to select it all. Next is where I got stuck a lot, I couldn't figure out how to make the wings appear like they are moving so I slowed down and asked a friend.  For that part we used the clone stamp to select a part of the wing then clicked and dragged it along the edges of the wings about 3-4 times to make it look as if it were moving.
Project 3 is where I struggled the most. We used the school as the background and cropped it to make it narrow. Then we used the text mast to add the words so they can be see through and added a gradient to the background. Lastly we added white around the borders on the letters to make them pop more.

Project four was easy because I got the hang of most of the tools to use. We used the same background as two of the other projects. Here we had to use the Lasso Tool to crop out the head of the raven and copy and paste it on to the picture of the school then use the opacity tool to blend it in. Then we had to add four other pictures to it and I used the opacity tool to make it less visible and blend into the background and lastly used a thumbnail to cancel out the edges of each picture.

The thing I did well in was addressing what my problems were and fixing them out and catching back up. I think my last project needs more work because it just looks weird, like I should have put the other pictures in a different spot.
